2007/2008 EVENTS

Participate in Events Sponsored by the NLG and the ACLU Along with Student Orgs Around the Country to Put an End to the Death Penalty

When: Feb. 28th, 2008, 6-8PM and 11-4PM

Where: Room 503 and outside the cafeteria

What: BLS Chapters of the NLG and ACLU invite you to a screening of the excellent, 2005 film, "The Exonterated," which dramatizes the stories of six people who had been wrongfully convicted of murder, but were later exonerated and freed after spending years on death row. Food and drink will be served. We will also be setting up a table outside of the cafeteria to promote awareness about current death penalty issues and to present compelling arguments in favor of abolition to our colleagues in law school. Come get some abolitionist stickers and such to slap on your bag, your friends, and your 'fridge!'
